Who we are

Moonlit was founded in 2026 by a small team of UK writers and analysts with backgrounds in payments, regulatory compliance and consumer journalism. We started Moonlit because comparing online casinos was harder than it should be: licence details were buried, payout claims went untested and safer gambling tools were treated as an afterthought.

What we do

We review online casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. We open real accounts, complete identity verification, make deposits and withdrawals, contact customer support and try every safer gambling tool. Then we publish a clear score and the reasons behind it.

Our methodology

Each brand is scored out of 10 in five areas: Licensing & Safety, Payments, Mobile Experience, Customer Support and Responsible Tools. We re-check every review monthly and update it if anything changes.

Our standards

We only feature operators with a valid UK Gambling Commission licence, and we link to each licence on the public register. Our content is written for adults aged 18 and over in the UK. We never target under-18s, and we never present gambling as a way to make money or solve financial problems.
